Last Days - A repost

October 1, 2005

Today was the last day of the semester. It started out like an old romantic movie spiced up with action and ended up like soap opera.

The night before, I watched the movie The Classic. It was a very nice movie. It made me laugh and cry, it made me fall in love again then broke my heart at the same time. Most of all, it made me feel good about me. I kept on telling myself that I deserved this movie after all the things I did this week.

Last Thursday we crammed our way to finish our first case study. And I couldn’t believe how it made me so weary. They say that being in UP is not only being a student, it’s a lifestyle. I guess its getting into me already.

And the days preceding this week are all compiled in a big box, ready to be kept away.

Today, I woke up at 8:30 and (without brushing my teeth nor rinsing my face!) immediately grabbed the book, Eleven Minutes by Paolo Coelho. As I was reading, I was also listening to some music, particularly The Fray, a new band I recently heard in MTV. It had been a wonderful morning. And I wished it never to end.

But I finished the book by noon and soon got up to attend to my last class for the semester.

This is the last day for an old beginning and a new end… of my life, my story.

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
When every day seems the same it is because we have stopped noticing the good things that appear in our lives.
(The Alchemist)
