If You Forget Me
Thursday, December 29, 2005
I want you to know
one thing.
You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
near the fire
the impalpable ash
or the wrinkled body of the log,
everything carries me to you,
as if everything that exists,
aromas, light, metals,
were little boats
that sail
toward those isles of yours that wait for me.
Well, now,
if little by little you stop loving me
I shall stop loving you little by little.
If suddenly
you forget me
do not look for me,
for I shall already have forgotten you.
If you think it long and mad,
the wind of banners
that passes through my life,
and you decide
to leave me at the shore
of the heart where I have roots,
remember
that on that day,
at that hour,
I shall lift my arms
and my roots will set off
to seek another land.
But
if each day,
each hour,
you feel that you are destined for me
with implacable sweetness,
if each day a flower
climbs up to your lips to seek me,
ah my love, ah my own,
in me all that fire is repeated,
in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten,
my love feeds on your love, beloved,
and as long as you live it will be in your arms
without leaving mine.

HS Bonding
Wednesday, December 28, 2005Last time Carla, Eileen and I talked was during Steph’s Birthday. We agreed to go do with our usual HS barkada bonding this Christmas season. Our initial plan was to watch a movie, either Narnia, King Kong, or the Memoirs of a Geisha. But the MMFF ruined the movie plan because we scheduled it on the week after Christmas but before the new year.
It’s a good thing that on the 26th I reminded Carla that we can’t go on with the movie plan because of the MMFF. By Tuesday we had agreed upon just meeting up at Eileen’s place.
I first met up with Jhopa, who now had really long hair, very Avril Lavigne like except that she wasn’t blonde. I caught up with bits of her Duty life as a Nursing Student while we were headed to Carla’s Place. When we arrived there, Pinky was already there. Then had a few chit chats about what happened this past sem.
The Most Miserable Day

“Christmas is the most miserable day in the whole year and to spend your most miserable day with the person you love is the most precious gift one can receive this season.”
Knowing My Mother’s Side of the Family
Friday, December 23, 2005
We had a sleepover last night with my cousins (mother side) at Nanay’s house, (my mom’s mother). We, Joan (11) and his brother Mino (13), Mahki (14), the rest of my siblings (14 & 16) and me all slept at the upper room because that’s the only place where we could fit. And could you believe that I was having a Pajama Party with a bunch of 14 year olds? Hah! I was actually the oldest one there, since Kuya Vava (21), Mahki’s brother would find our party a bit silly.
Mino, the badminton champ. And Mac.)
We bought some balut, and ate them while some were playing some PS Games, which I totally sucked in. I haven’t held a joy stick like ages ago! Hahaha! We were making so much noise on whose turn it was, Nanay went up our room to quiet us down! Kalampagan kasi ng kalampagan! Hehehe. We also flipped over the boys magazines which caught the least interest in me. Later did I find out that an adult magazine can be so educational that it provides much better articles on what else to do than to flip some porn.
Nothing much happened aside from just watching some soaps and sleeping.

This is one of my cousins, Cy. He’s like 5 years old who constantly adores Pepper. He keeps chasing Pepper around the house and dives on the floor when Pepper hides under the sofa or any claustrophobic places. He keeps going to our house, I just can’t get why he idolizes my lil bro so much. As if he’s so cool and that there’s much to learn from him.
